Epiphany

i have just traveled out of myself
out into the bigger picture
i’ve realized the way things are, and how i want them to be
everything that holds them back will never let me in

i am almost where i want to be
and we’ll never let this shit hold us back again
everything that holds them back will never let me in
the whole human race captive to its masters

when will we realize how to set us free
i’ve realized exactly where i want to be

i want to be where my heart takes me
where it sparks the light to ignite the flame again
where my soul has joy and my voice has sound
and i understand everything like i do right now

i want to be inside myself
and out into the universe
i want to see everything that exists
right from this point
