Hey. My name is Devyn Chaffee and this is my personal writing blog, I feel comfortable sharing it publicly. Sometimes I write poetry, other times I write short stories, and other times still I write short pieces – sort of like rants.

I write a lot, not always my best work, but I love to write. Through my journals, poems, art, and music I find a more fitting way of self-expression and emotional relief. My writing has evolved through practice and study, though I find that using your heart and your mind in harmony works best.

A little about me, you ask? Well sure.

I’m a student, writer, musician, graphic designer, and geek. I love playing video games, playing my guitar, hanging out with friends, talking, trippin’, and analyzing the meaning of the universe and every aspect of the human nature. I’m obsessed with becoming the ideal me I have a vague understanding of in my head. I tend to be quite unusual and, at times, embarrassing. I’m also extremely open-minded and pretty liberal. I won’t say I’ve had the most difficult life, but it surely hasn’t been the easiest.
